Dwayne Meyers
Bishop Designate Dwayne Meyers, is a spirit-filled man of God who has always had a deep love and sense of compassion for others. He is an accomplished percussionist, and has traveled internationally with gospel music’s most celebrated artists, is a published author and anointed speaker. He is married to the lovely Senior Executive Pastor Tracey Meyers and they are the proud parents of five children: Derrell, Danaye, Dwayne Jr (DJ), Dohnte and Drew.
Perhaps best known for his dynamic leadership in youth ministry, Pastor Meyers began serving in ministry at an early age as an anointed drummer at Victory Temple in Brooklyn, New York. Pastor Meyers comes from a line of Bishops, Pastors, and ministry. It is with this mantle, that he accepted the call to the ministry in 1989 while serving faithfully under his mother, Pastor L. Meyers.
“Pastor D” as he is affectionately known, being led of the Holy Spirit, and after waiting patiently for the appointed time after many years of service in ministry, launched Life Changers Family Worship Christian Center in February 2011. Life Changers Family Worship Christian Center is a community of believers in the northern metropolitan Atlanta area. Experiencing “the incredible favor of God’ since its inception, Pastor Meyers seeks to love the lost to the point of salvation and bring a dose of reality in the form of a rhema word to God’s people. It is his sincerest desire to see lives be changed one person at a time, by sharing Christ, through the demonstration of God’s love for us and through us for the kingdom of God.
In 2013 the Lord bought Pastor Meyers full circle and fulfilled his desire to be affiliated with the ministry of his spiritual father, Archbishop, Robert J. Rochford, of the Dunamis Covenant Connection Fellowship (DCC), headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. It is with this connection that he began to experience growth and expansion in ministry and training.
Being a much sought after voice of counsel and instruction from Pastors and his peers, in 2015, Pastor Meyers was consecrated and elevated to the office of Overseer in DCC.
